Ingredients
Pumpkin (cut into large cubes)
Tumeric powder
Chilli powder
grated coconut
cumin
salt
Cooking Method
- Add pumpkin, tumeric powder, chiili powder and a little salt in a pot with water and boil till pumpkin is soft
- Mash the pumpkin
- Blend grated coconut, cumin
- Add this to the pumpkin and continue to cook just a short while
- Remove from stove
- Temper in hot oil: mustard seed, curry leaves and grated coconut
- Pour over the pumpkin mix and cover
